RAISING UP MISSIONARIES IN EVERY VOCATION
Many high school seniors struggle to feel prepared, focused, and grounded to take the next steps in life. This has led more students considering taking a “Gap Year” to travel, get a job, explore their passions, and become more grounded, although taking an entire year is not a good option for many, and so the idea of a “Gap Summer” was born. This is a 40 day Gap Summer program unlike any other! Students will spend time working through spiritual disciplines, but reframed as “habits of grace” (the rhythms of life in which we present ourselves before God for Him to do a work of grace in us, in order for Him to do a work through us. Life School is a gap summer 40 day intensive program primarily for students 18-25 where students will have the opportunity to spend time in God’s words with world class teachers, serve one of the least churched areas in America through practical outreach and evangelism, experience epic adventure in Gods creation, and lead guest groups in short term mission trips. Simply put, Life School is a life changing gap summer program aimed at:

The Experience.
Study The Word.
At Life School we will spend time studying and sharing Gods word, in order for students to experience the life giving relationship which comes through not only knowing Him, but also making Him known.
Experience Adventure.
We will hike under the canopies of the Redwoods, camp near the majestic cliffs of Big Sur, and learn to surf just minutes away from your home at Life School.
Learn To Lead.
You will be trained and equipped to lead through serving short term high school missions trips. You will lead other students in outreach, group discussions, and practical ministry experiences at Life School.
Serve The Community.
Students at Life School will have the opportunity to serve Santa Cruz through; service projects, homeless outreach, and evangelism.

Zane and Rachel
Both Zane and Rachel had their lives forever impacted through attending separate Torchbearers Gap Year Schools almost 20 years ago. This birthed the desire to raise up a team to start a gap summer program where students could experience Christ’s life.
Maggie
Maggie was our intern for one year and now has taken the role of Lovin Life Brand Ambassador! With her extroverted spirit and love for Jesus and people Mags is the welcoming face of Life School that represents who we are as Lovin Life.
Lindsey
Lindsey is from Portland Oregon, but spent the last year attending Timberline Bible School gap year program. Lindsey will be joining the Lovin Life family for this gap summer and is excited to pour into students in the same capacity that she experienced while at Timberline Bible School gap year program.
Marcel And Elise
Living in Santa Cruz CA, Marcel and Elise have spent the last 10 years as missionaries traveling the world proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus. They are excited to pour into the lives of students at Life School through preaching, mentoring and planning outreaches!
Josh Kocher
Josh, Operations Director at Lovin Life Inc, thrives on adrenaline-fueled adventures like cliff jumping and rock climbing and much more. Josh is stoked to pour into students as well as serve the community of Camp Santa Cruz.
